A native out of Chicago Illinois Pastor Austin Humphreys is a proud product of Christian education! Graduating from Oakwood Adventist Academy and matriculated to Oakwood University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Theology in May of 2013. Pastor Humphreys has achieved a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies from Oakwood University.

Pastor Austin Humphreys served as the associate pastor of the Berean Seventh Day Adventist church in Atlanta Georgia for 3 1/2 years until transitioning to eastern North Carolina where he had the esteem pleasure of pastoring the Murfreesboro and Maranatha SDA churches in eastern North Carolina!

In 2021 Pastor Humphreys became the Senior Pastor of the Gethsemane Seventh Day Adventist Church also know as “The Garden” in Raleigh North Carolina! Pastor Humphreys is married to the love of his life and best friend Ja’Lissa and they are the proud parents of their daughter Arden!

Pastor Humphreys lives by the motto “If you stay small enough long enough, God will make you big enough soon enough!”
